The Sunflower Mural Project Original. Acrylics. 2001 Guest Bathroom. Private residence. Orland Park IL Our clients, Jim & Cathy A. wanted a person saying "Wow!" upon coming out of the guest bathroom...if they came out at all! Cathy wanted lots of sunflowers, butterflies, and ladybugs. In collaboration with my husband Clar, we created a fun, whimsical environment. I designed characters which reflected our clients fun-loving spirit. Working with what was already there, 'scumbled 2-tone textured walls, and in keeping the cost down, we achieved what we had set out to do: |
