Clar continues advanced studies with world renown artist Pandit Ronu Majumdar. 2004 - Awarded academic music certificate from the Bharatiya Sangeet Prasarak Mandal, Pune, India; Sitar Teacher for Chicago's only accredited school of Indian music - Sadhana - School of Indian Music. A musician of over 33 years (guitar, bass, sitar) with performance, recording, and published songwriting experience. Clar also performs regularly with Chicago's SANDALWOOD Sitar Music Ensemble and provides instructions to sitar enthusiasts. Private lessons with Clar continues the one-on-one tradition of sitar study.
